SHILLONG: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday said that the Central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is leaving no stone unturned in promoting Northeast on the world map and bringing progress and prosperity in the region.

Prepare system for vax distribution, says Arunachal Governor B.D. Mishra

ITANAGAR: Arunachal Pradesh Governor Brig. (retd) Dr B.D. Mishra on Saturday advised the state government to prepare a tangible system for distribution of COVID-19 vaccines in advance so that once made available it smoothly reaches the people, who need it most.
He appreciated the move of the State government to constitute task forces at various levels including State, district and block for monitoring distribution of the vaccines.
Reposing his faith in the COVID-19 vaccines procurement and distribution effort of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Dr Mishra exuded confidence that India would get a safe, effective, cost affordable vaccine soon. ....
