NORTH PROVIDENCE, RI Mayor Charles A. Lombardi has joined forces with Johnston Mayor Joseph Polisena to obtain a $7,500 grant to help low-income, elderly and disabled residents cover the costs of preventive veterinary care for their cats and dogs.
The Animal Welfare Grant was awarded by The Rhode Island Foundation.
