BEARDSTOWN Beardstown City Council has reached an agreement with Cass County Emergency Telephone System for the city’s dispatcher contract.
The council previously declined to approve the contract, instead requesting a breakdown of the costs and more information on how the service would operate and how it would improve on the current service.
The council unanimously approved the $84,675 contract Tuesday night after the ETS board lowered a proposed price increase by half, Beardstown Alderman Tim Harris said. ....
