Firefighters were sent to the Avalon Princeton Junction apartment complex in West Windsor at about 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday after a fire was reported at the complex. The four-alarm fire engulfed Building 8 on Taylor Court, police said. Further information will be released by the police department when it is available. Firefighters are still on the scene.
One firefighter suffered minor injuries battling the blaze at the three-story building. Firefighters said the fire was brough under control before about 6 p.m.
Police are asking that drivers avoid Clarksville Road between Meadow Road and North Post Road because numerous first responders are in the area.   ....
