Among those articles was the town budget: All articles for the 2021-2022 budget of $5,261,210 passed unanimously, representing a decrease of $420,372 from the current budget, or 7.5%.

United Way of East Central Alabama helps Calhoun County youngsters grow love of reading By Donna Cope May 14, 2021 Pre-kindergarten student Harrigan Lowry of Oxford Elementary School in Anniston was among 2,000 Calhoun County students who received a free copy of Giraffes Can t Dance from the United Way of East Central Alabama. Lowry s family took the book on a recent vacation, where Harrigan and her parents enjoyed reading the book together. (Jacki Lowry) Books are gifts that expand your world.
