Peshawar civic body gets first woman chief - Newspaper

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government on Wednesday posted an officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, Ms Aamara Khan, as the first-ever female director general of the Peshawar Development Authority.
Ms Aamara (BS-19) was posted on the vacant post by relieving the Peshawar division commissioner of the additional charge with immediate effect, according to a notification issued by the establishment department.
Ms Khan belongs to the 34th Common Training Programme. She has worked on different field and desk assignments in Punjab, Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
She was also the first ever female officer to be made deputy commissioner of Abbottabad, and has also remained Hazara division’s additional commissioner. ....

He then commanded a seven-ship combined, multi-national Task Group in the High Arctic later in 2010 during the annual Op NANOOK. Later, as a RAdm, he also led the CAF s recurring Op LENTUS responses to historic fires and floods in BC while commanding Joint Task Force Pacific 2016-2018. ....
