The Ann Arbor Summer Festival (A2SF) announces a mix of new, in-person, and digital events that kick off on June 11. A2SF’s season anchor this year is a pop-up concert series
Live Here Now presented by Toyota and will take place in public parks and spaces throughout Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti. A2SF is engaging a diverse group of community partners throughout the two cities and presenting many in partnership with the Ann Arbor District Library (AADL) this summer.

ANN ARBOR, MI Ann Arbor is advancing plans for affordable housing at three more locations.
City Council voted unanimously this week to direct the Ann Arbor Housing Commission and its affiliated entities to develop affordable housing on city-owned sites at 353 S. Main St., 123 W. Summit St. and 1510 E. Stadium Blvd.

ANN ARBOR, MI Ann Arbor is close to adopting a new fair housing ordinance to keep landlords from turning away renters with criminal backgrounds.
But based on issues raised by McKinley Inc., a major apartment landlord in the area, officials say the city needs to carve out exceptions for private landlords who are federally required in some cases to take a person’s criminal history into account.
