Syracuse, N.Y. The Syracuse Auto Expo has given up on efforts to hold the show in 2021 and will instead hold its next show in 2022.
It will be only the second time in the last 114 years that the show has been canceled.
In December, the Syracuse Automobile Dealers Association announced it was postponing the 2021 show from February of 2021 and moving it to September because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The 2021 Syracuse Auto Expo will be moving from its traditional spot in February to autumn next year.
The 113th Syracuse Auto Expo is now scheduled to take place at the Oncenter from Sept. 23-26, 2021. The show will be kicked off by the 23rd Annual Charity Preview on Sept. 22.
“Moving the show not only affects the local dealerships and national brands that are a part of this exciting event,” said Syracuse Auto Dealers Association President Rich Burritt. “More importantly, this postponement affects the 14 charities who will be missing the funding they would receive from the February Auto Expo Charity Preview.”
