ALBANY, New York, May 19 (TNSsre) The New York State Public Service Commission issued the following order on waiver requests (Case No. 21-T-0059):
In the Matter of Alle-Catt Wind Energy LLC for a Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need Pursuant to Article VII of the Public Service Law.
ORDER ON WAIVER REQUESTS
INTRODUCTION
On February 10, 2021, Alle-Catt Wind Energy LLC (ACWE) filed an application (Application) for a Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need (Certificate) pursuant to Article VII of the Public Service Law (PSL). If granted, the Certificate would authorize ACWE to construct, operate, and maintain a new overhead 345 kV electric transmission line and associated equipment (Transmission Facility) located in the towns of Freedom and Yorkshire in Cattaraugus County. The Transmission Facility would interconnect the Alle-Catt Wind Farm/1 to a new 345 kV switchyard built adjacent to National Grid ....

Pipeline files legal action to take 31 Pittsylvania County properties for public use

DANVILLE, Va. â Mountain Valley Pipeline, LLC, filed an action in the Danville Division of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Virginia yesterday to provide a notice of condemnation to the owners of 31 pieces of land in Pittsylvania County.
These properties will be used by Mountain Valley to finish the pipeline s course through northern Pittsylvania County to its terminus at the Transco compression station in east Chatham.
This legal document, located on PACER, spells out each property, its location and its titleholders. These properties vary in size from 0.01 acres to 19.08 acres.
The easements are necessary for MVP to construct, operate and maintain an interstate natural gas pipeline and related facilities and appurtenances, the document s authors wrote. ....
