PORTSMOUTH - The 2021 presidents of the Seacoast Board of Realtors and the Strafford County Board of Realtors Ted Mantos and Lee Ann Parks, respectively both work for the Bean Group, headquartered in Portsmouth.
And while they both share a common realty office, they also share a similar view of the residential real estate factors in 2021 a continued seller’s market of tight inventory and rising prices.
“All signs point to a continued seller’s market,” said Mantos, president of the Portsmouth-based Seacoast Board of Realtors. He succeeds Adam Gaudet of 603 Birch Realty in Chester. ....

Strafford County Riverside Rest Home to get COVID vaccine in outbreak

“There’s 475 people eligible for the vaccine, that’s staff and residents,” he said.
Staff and residents will receive the first of two doses of the Pfizer vaccine at the 215-bed Riverside Rest Home, which has been dealing with a COVID outbreak, Bower said.
Bower, who has been recovering from COVID himself after testing positive, said he will “absolutely be the first in line” on Monday when CVS personnel arrive to administer the injections.
Strafford County’s Riverside Rest Home went 266 days without anyone testing positive for COVID, Bower said, “since then we’ve certainly had our share.”
He’s encouraged that the home’s residents and staff will have access to the vaccine even before the end of the year. ....

Seacoast hospitals and nursing homes are expecting their first doses of a COVID-19 vaccine, which began arriving Monday in New Hampshire and Maine, hopeful this development marks the beginning of the end of the COVID-19 pandemic.
New Hampshire officials said the first shipment of the Pfizer/BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine was unloaded, processed and prepared for immediate distribution to at-risk health workers, including front line clinical staff providing direct patient care.
“New Hampshire is ready to hit the ground running to do our part in delivering this game-changing vaccine,” Gov. Chris Sununu said in a prepared statement. “It is an all-hands-on-deck effort for one of the most important undertakings in the history of our state.
