But on Saturday evening (July 10), he was finally able to grab the lion s share of the $11,300 purse with a 1 1/2-length victory over Black Is Back in 1:55.4 over the fast track. With Black Is Back collecting the lead just before the opening panel, Iluvtomakemoney was sick of second place and went up and retake the lead, using fractions of :29, :59.1 and 1:27.3. Turning for home, Iluvtomakemoney was determined to stay on top and used a :28.1 last panel to seal the win over Black Is Back while Daylight Rush rushed in for third. ....

Sitting third behind Santana Beach and Thor De Vie approaching the opening marker, Stratosphere wasn t pleased with the action on the front so he took control of matters, firing to the lead. With splits of :28.4, :57.2 and 1:26, Stratosphere was ready to face the challenges that awaited him in the home stretch. Daylight Rush gave it a good try but couldn t get by Stratosphere as he finished a half length in front in 1:54.1. Santana Beach and Under Paid finished in a dead heat for third. ....

Allstar Energy was the winner of the feature, but was disqualified and placed seventh after interfering with Under Paid ($3.90) coming off the opening turn. Driver Ray Fisher Jr. was able to collect Under Paid after the gallop to stay in the race. They edged out Dojea Solo by a neck for the eventual victory while Ohio Prince was placed third. ....
