This journey through the social norms of 10 sectors suggests that careful consideration of the ways that programs and the communities engage with gender norms is paramount.
Social norms influence behaviour and often reinforce discrimination and social and gender inequities. When sustaining or shifting behaviour is a programme goal, researchers and practitioners need to understand how norms relate to behaviours. The Social Norms Atlas provides a set of illustrative social norms pertaining to ten development sectors to assist users in translating social norms-related concepts into practical applications. A collective effort led by the Social Norms Learning Collaborative, its ultimate aim is to help enhance efficacy of behaviour change programmes in achieving targeted outcomes. ....

Punjab Minister for Special Education Chaudhry Muhammad Ikhlaq has said Punjab government will ensure the provision of world class municipal facilities to the people of Sialkot under the supervision of experts from Asian Development Bank.
He stated this while addressing a meeting held at the DC’s office to review the Punjab Inter-Cities Improvement Investment programme.
He further said that work had been started on mega projects including clean drinking water supply, upgradation of parks and sewerage system, solid waste and waste water treatment plants in Sialkot at a cost of Rs17 billion. ....

The company plans to use the new funds to scale up its engineering, product development, and go-to-market capabilities. It will also invest in growing its self-service capacity for small and midsize companies.
Founded in 2018, the North Carolina-based firm offers a cloud-native SaaS platform that provides visibility and security capabilities for an organization’s cyber assets. The company says its platform automates asset discovery, visibility and compliance, and it can be used by organizations of all sizes.
