Everyoneâs favorite Alley Theatre is gearing up for a big anniversary seasonâits 75 th to be exactâand itâs pulling out all the theatrical stops in honor of such a special occasion. Weâre talking a world premiere musical alongside three world premiere plays. âOur 75th Season boasts the most world premieres of any of our 74 previous seasons,â Artistic Director Rob Melrose said in a statement. The jam-packed season kicks off with Pulitzer Prize-winning play Sweat, which is being produced in collaboration with The Ensemble Theatre, before continuing with nine other productions and running through June 2022.
