Photo for representative purpose only BELAGAVI: In a death inflicted by shortage of ventilator, father-in-law of The Washington Post (WP) journalist died at a private hospital in Belagavi as family could not arrange a ventilator. 86-year-old Balachandra Honavar was admitted to Kasbekar Metgud hospital a few days back after he allegedly fell in the garden at his home in Belagavi. He was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment as developed breathing issues. The son-in-law of the deceased, Desikan Thirunarayanapuram works as Night Editor in The Washington Post, an American daily newspaper published in Washington. His wife Viashali, daughter of the deceased, is also settled in the US. ....
