Pounds / Hearst Connecticut Media Thousands of customers experienced power outages in the state Sunday, according to information from Eversource and United Illuminating. As of 5:37 p.m., outage data for Eversource showed 2,270 customers experiencing outages in the state, with the highest numbers in Bloomfield with 337, Montville with 325 and Vernon with 260. United Illuminating had 3,198 customers experiencing outages, according to data updated at 5:39 p.m., with the highest numbers recorded at 2,544 in West Haven and 597 in Easton. ....
