Defense, rebounding: UConn lead the Big East by allowing just 64.3 points per game. The Huskies haven’t allowed more than 70 points since an 80-72 win at Xavier on Feb. 13. In their prior meeting with the Hoyas just 11 days ago in Washington, D.C., UConn held Georgetown to just 36 percent shooting in a 70-57 win.
Georgetown, meanwhile, leads the Big East in rebounding (40.6) and rebounding margin (plus-5.1). However, the Hoyas were outrebounded badly by the Huskies in that previous matchup, 46-30. ....
