Two more arrested in connection with stolen vehicle crash

GERMANTOWN HILLS, Ill. Two men have been arrested in connection with a stolen vehicle incident Saturday night in Germantown Hills.
The Woodford County Sheriff’s Office said the men were taken into custody not far from the scene of a crash that involved a Deputy’s squad car.
Julius Davis, 20, was arrested for obstructing justice and possession of a controlled substance. Demetrious Davis, 23, was arrested for obstructing justice.
Both men were taken to the Woodford County Jail and were awaiting a court appearance Monday.
Two juveniles were previously arrested for the incident Saturday night in which they allegedly drove a stolen vehicle into a Woodford County Sheriff’s deputy’s car, hitting it head-on. ....

Four arrested after stolen car crashes into Woodford deputy's vehicle

GERMANTOWN HILLS An incident last weekend in which teenagers were accused of crashing a stolen car into a Woodford County deputy s vehicle has resulted in four arrests.
Julius I. Davis, 20, and Demetrious E. Davis, 23, were accused of obstructing justice in connection with the incident that happened Saturday night on Lakemper Drive in Germantown Hills, the Woodford County Sheriff s Office announced Monday.
Also arrested were two 14-year-olds, a boy and a girl, after they allegedly stole the car and crashed it into the deputy s vehicle while trying to escape.
The car was reported stolen from Peoria County, Woodford County Chief Deputy Dennis Tipsword said Monday. ....

Two men arrested in multi-county burglary ring

EUREKA – Additional arrests are likely soon regarding a burglary ring that has been active in Marshall, Tazewell and Woodford counties.
Woodford County Sheriff s Office personnel and others apprehended two men last weekend in East Peoria in connection with at least six business burglaries, according to Chief Deputy Dennis Tipsword.
Clifford D. Branham, 52, of LaRose and Otis D. Harrell, 40, of Benson were being held at the Woodford County Jail, each on $500,000 bond. Each man must post $50,000 to be released.
Branham and Harrell are suspected of being key figures in the burglaries, which have taken place over the past several months. Other suspects were being sought. ....
