NORFOLK, Va. - You ve probably seen a 15-seat pedal bike riding up and down Downtown Norfolk. That vehicle is dubbed âLizzie,â and it s operated by Norfolk Pedal Tours.
It runs on human power,â Jake Schmader, the companyâs co-owner, said. âWe re all making this thing move right now.
Norfolk Pedal Tours takes people on tours to local restaurants, pubs and small businesses throughout downtown and nearby areas. It started in 2019, but only had two tours in 2020 and was immediately shut down because of the COVID-19 pandemic. ....

THE Cebu City Government conducted a Bike Patrol Deputation Training Course for the deputies who will ensure the implementation and public education of the policies under City Ordinance (CO) 2408 or The Sugbo Bike Lanes Ordinance.
The training course was held from April 26-29, 2021 at the Carbon Market building.
It was led by representatives from the Cebu City Transportation Office (CCTO), Base Camp Emergency Response Team, and Sugbo Bike Lanes Board.
Based on CO 2408 that was passed in 2014, CCTO is responsible for the “strict implementation of this ordinance, including the establishment of bike racks or bike parking.” ....

San Antonio – A San Antonio family is asking the suspect responsible for shooting their loved one while he was riding a bike to come forward.
Jesus Angel Cardenas, 38, was shot and killed while riding along Evergreen Street and Evergreen Court, according to San Antonio Police.
“He was very outgoing and very humble,” said Edward Rios Jr, his brother. “He was willing to give you the shirt off his back. He didn’t have much but he would be willing to make sure you had before him.” ....
