Proof of having received the anti-Covid-19 vaccine would be the next criteria to enter government offices, public service premises, and schools, according to the Minister of Health.
Oman started to vaccinate the target groups in December 2020 with people above 65 years of age, those suffering from chronic diseases and frontline workers and other groups.
Speaking at the last meeting of the Supreme Committee, Dr Ahmed bin Mohammed al Saeedi, Minister of Health, said lack of proof of having vaccinated would disqualify people from entering the government office premises.
A document showing vaccination will be made a criteria to enter any public office or government divisions and schools in future, he added. ....

Doha: The Shafallah Center for Persons with Disabilities participated in the art contest organised by the Unesco Center Louis François in Troyes, France and has won several prizes in different categories of the competition.
The Executive Director of the Shafallah Center, Laalei Abu Alfain, has emphasised that the Shafallah Center participates permanently in all local and international art competitions.
“The Center is interested in promoting the recognition of children and youth, and working to include them in the memory of humanity, through their participation in educational, cultural and artistic activities,” she said. Abu Alfain also said that the Shafallah Center participated in art contest organised by the Unesco Center Louis François in Troyes, France with six artworks and Qatar is the only Arab country to participate in the international competition. ....

MACAO, June 27 (Xinhua) China s Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) reported one new imported COVID-19 case on Sunday, bringing the SAR s total number of confirmed cases to 54, according to the Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Center of Macao.
The patient, a 20-year-old female Macao resident who studied in Britain, departed from Britain on Friday and arrived in Macao Saturday on a flight via Singapore, the center said.
The woman said she had not been infected with the virus before, nor had she been vaccinated against it.
She has shown no symptoms yet, the center said. ....
