Londoners will be heading to the polls on 6 May to elect a mayor plus 25 London Assembly members. The election was meant to take place in May last year, but was postponed due to the pandemic. Normally, elections take place every four years - and more than six million people in London are registered to vote. Voters can pick a first and a second preference for Mayor.
