Men charged with murder for deadly Kinloch Park shooting

Witnesses said they saw the truck pull up before the shooting and leave after the shooting.
According to charging documents, one of the men injured in the shooting was Ferrell.
Police said they were able to track down the truck when Sims took Farrell to Cardinal Glennon Hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound to the ankle.
Police said the truck was spotted driving to Cardinal Glennon Hospital, where Sims dropped off Ferrell.
When police discovered Sims and his mother owned the car, they applied for a search warrant and took Sims into custody.
Police said Sims admitted to driving Ferrell to the gathering and pointing out people at the park before Ferrell began shooting. ....

KINLOCH, Mo. (AP) Prosecutors have charged two men with murder in the shooting deaths last week of two other men in the St. Louis suburb of Kinloch.
Arttavis Farrell, 31, of St. Louis County, and Akeem Sims, 19, of Florissant, are each charged with two counts of murder, three counts of assault, six counts of armed criminal action and one count of unlawful use of a weapon, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.
The charges follow a shooting the evening of May 7 at a block party in Kinloch where police say between 100 and 200 people had gathered. Police later found five shooting victims who had been taken to area hospitals. Two of them, 38-year-old Eddie Wilkerson of St. Louis County and 18-year-old Montrez Hughes of St. Louis, died. ....
