Epsilon & Beowulf Mining sign MOU to set-up Joint Venture operations in Finland
Mumbai, May 12 (UNI) Epsilon Advance Material (EAMPL), a subsidiary of Epsilon Carbon, signed an MoU with Beowulf Mining plc to establish a joint venture company in Finland.
The MOU acts as a formal market entry vehicle for Epsilon for supplying anode material into Europe by firmly establishing itself in Finland. The MoU also enables Beowulf’s wholly-owned subsidiary Oy Fennoscandian Resources AB (Fennoscandian) to build its downstream capability, collaborating with a strong and innovative technology/processing partner.
According to the agreement, Epsilon and Beowulf will jointly develop a strategic processing hub for both natural flake and recycled graphite in Finland. The JV with its Active Anode Material project targets to be a prominent player in the European Lithium-ion Battery ecosystem. ....

Despite declining revenues across the ad industry, the biggest agencies are still hiring.
Healthcare remains a hot area, with Omnicom Health Group listing almost 600 open roles on Glassdoor.
Other areas for job opportunities include media, strategy, and data and analytics.
Advertising companies have struggled as the pandemic and downturn led brands to pull back on marketing in 2020.
IPG and Dentsu, for instance, reported year-over-year organic revenue declines of 6.5% and 11.1%, respectively, as the coronavirus caused clients to cut spending and event cancellations.

Watchdog finds USPTO’s $47m IT contract award “unacceptable”

The US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) engaged in “impermissible and unequal discussions” with information technology (IT) company Epsilon before awarding it a $47 million contract, according to the Government Accountability Office (GAO).
The GAO sustained a protest over the award of the contract on January 8, and the decision has now been released to the public.
According to the GAO, the USPTO requested quotations in relation to IT service needs. The agency sought to award a contract based on the provision of IT support desk services.
A total of 17 companies provided quotations, including Epsilon and its competitor Innovative Management & Technology Approaches (IMTAS).  The USPTO awarded a blanket purchase agreement to Epsilon. ....
