Plans for the project include a 32-unit duplex subdivision on 16 lots, sitting on 9.72 acres on the northwest corner of McCarthy and Bell roads, according to board documents. During the meeting, a public hearing was held and the board amended an existing annexation agreement to include a 2.41-acre lot which will be part of the development. The board had approved the final planned unit development in June 2020, but that approval lapses after a year if site development does not begin. The extension of the special use approval allows the developer an additional 12 months to start site development, according to board documents.
