OCHSNER IS RESCHEDULING SOME APPOINTMENTS. NO SECOND DOSES ARE CANCELED RIGHT NOW. A DOCTOR WITH HOSPITALS ARE PLANNING JUST IN CASE SHIPPING DELAYS CONTINUE IN MORE VACCINE SCHEDULES HAVE TO SHIFT. WE HAVE NOT HAD TO DO THAT. IF NEED TO, WE CAN REACH OUT TO OUR PATIENTS AND RESCHEDULE THEM. Patients that were scheduled to be vaccinated by Ochsner Lafayette General will not be able to receive a vaccine on Monday.
Winter weather conditions have closed the site at they Heymann Center on Monday February 15, 2021. Patients were notified of the change in scheduling.
While we notified everyone on the schedule Friday evening and Saturday morning, all COVID-19 vaccines scheduled for today (at the Heymann Center) have been canceled. Those who were scheduled for their second dose today should go to the Heymann Center Wednesday at the SAME TIME their dose was scheduled for today. Those who were scheduled for their first dose were texted and emailed a link to reschedule. OLGH says. ....
