The Government has spent more than $6 million bringing home New Zealanders who were stranded overseas at the start of the pandemic.
Between January and April last year, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade chartered several mercy flights from places like Wuhan in China, India and Peru. ....

Religious Polarization: In states where Muslim population is less then 15%, the BJP uses religious polarization to pool the votes of Hindu Upper Caste along with SCs, STs and employed class of BCs and OBCs. Despite considerable social differences between aforesaid sections, BJP able to garner their votes by successfully polarizing them against the Muslims.
But the case of West Bengal was different. Here on 65 seats Muslim population is more than 40%. On 30-35 seats Muslim pollution is between 30% to 40%, and further on 30-35 seats Muslim pollution is between 20% to 30%. Therefore, there are about 130 seats in West Bengal where Muslims count for more than 20% and above all some of these seats are totally dominated by Muslims where their pollution is between 60% to 90%. As a result, BJP’s religious polarization strategy backfired on these seats as Muslims rallied ....

Muscat - Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) has warned the Omani investors abroad to be careful before entering into any kind of business agreements with them. OCCI was responding to a report in a regional newspaper that 22 Omani investors were victims of a scam. The chamber said they should seek help from legal services to ensure the validity of all documents.
As per the original report, a man posing as a UAE-based property developer proved to be a con artist after collecting RO450,000 from 22 Omani investors as deposits for three-bedroom flats in Dubai. ....
