महागाईच्या विरोधात काँग्रेसची मडगावात सायकल रॅली

महागाई रोखण्यात भाजप सरकार पूर्णपणे अपयशी ठरले आहे. महागाईमुळे सर्व सामान्य जनतेला जीवन जगणे कठीण झालेले आहे. देशात आर्थिक आणीबाणी सदृश्य परिस्थिती निर्माण झालेली आहे. त्याचा निषेध करण्यासाठी काल मडगावात काँग्रेस पक्षाने सायकल रॅली काढली. या रॅलीत विरोधी पक्षनेते दिगंबर कामत, आमदार लुईझिन फालेरो, प्रदेश अध्यक्ष गिरीश चोडणकर इत्यादी सहभागी झाले होते.

यावेळी बोलताना विरोधी पक्षनेते दिगंबर कामत म्हणाले की, भाजपा सरकारने अत्यंत बेजबाबदार वागणुकीमुळे देशात आर्थिक आणिबाणीसदृश्य परिस्थिती निर्माण करून प्रत्येक नागरिकाला कर्जाच्या दुष्टचक्रात ढकलले आहे. त्यामुळे काँग्रेस पक्ष या सरकारने वाढवलेल्या महागाईविरोधात लढा देणार असून, आजची निषेधात्मक सायकल रॅली ही भाजपसरकारविरोधातील नवक्रांतीचीच सुरुवात आहे.
पेट्रोल प्रति लिटर 60 रुपये राहील असे आश्वासन देत भाजप सरकारने 2012 मध्ये सत्ता काबीज केली. पण, आज गोव्यात पेट्रोल शंभरीला पोहोचले असल्याचे यावेळी दिगंबर कामत यांनी निदर्शनास आणून दिले.
मडगाव येथील ऐतिहासिक लोहिया मैदानावर राम मनोहर लोहिया यांच्या पुतळय़ाला वंदन करून काँग्रेसने आपल्या महागाईविरोधातील आपल्या निषेधात्मक सायकल रॅलीला प्रारंभ केला. यावेळी नुवेचे माजी आमदार आलेक्स सिक्वेरा, काँग्रेसचे उपाध्यक्ष आल्तिनो गोम्स, दक्षिण गोवा काँग्रेस अध्यक्ष ज्यो डायस, मडगाव गट काँग्रेस अध्यक्ष गोपाळ नाईक, मडगाव पालिकेच्या उपनगराध्यक्ष दिपाली सावळ आदी पदाधिकारी व काँग्रेस कार्यकर्ते यावेळी उपस्थित होते. ही सायकल रॅली दक्षिण गोवा जिल्हाधिकारी कार्यालयापर्यत काढण्यात आली.
विविध करांचा अधिभार लावून इंधन दरवाढ केल्यामुळे भाजप सरकार सर्वार्थाने जनतेला लुटण्याचेच काम करत आहे. जनतेकडून लुटला जाणारा हा सगळा पैसा नेमका जातोय कुठे ? असा सवाल यावेळी गिरीश चोडणकर यांनी विचारला.
जनतेच्या त्रासाची कल्पना भाजपला नाहीच
कोविडच्या काळात जनतेला सोसाव्या लागलेल्या त्रासाची कल्पना भाजप सरकारला अजिबातच दिसत नाही. जनतेची थोडी जरी काळजी असेल, तर सरकारने केलेली इंधन दरवाढ त्वरित मागे घ्यावी अशी आग्रही मागणी यावेळी माजी मुख्यमंत्री लुईझिन फालेरो यांनी केली.
वारंवार केली जाणारी इंधन दरवाढ ही भाजप सरकारच्या असंवेदनशीलपणाचेच द्योतक आहे. सर्वसामान्य जनतेच्या सुख-दुःखासोबत आपले कसलेही नाते नाही हेच यातून भाजप सरकार सांगत आहे, असे यावेळी ज्यो डायस यांनी नमूद केले.
महागाई विरोधात गोवा काँग्रेसने आयोजित केलेली आजची निषेधात्मक सायकल रॅली ही काँग्रेसच्या मोदी सरकारविरोधातील राष्ट्रीय निषेध कार्यक्रमाचा भाग असून, आजच्या या तिसऱया निषेध मोर्चापूर्वी महिला आणि युवा काँग्रेसच्यावतीने 8 जुलै रोजी सांखळी, डिचोली, वाळपईमध्ये ‘ढोल वादन’ करण्यात आले होते. त्याचप्रमाणे सांखळीमध्ये 9 जुलैरोजी बैलगाडी रॅली काढून महागाईचा निषेध नोंदवला होता. जोपर्यंत सरकार ही इंधनवाढ आणि दरवाढ मागे घेत नाही तोवर राज्यभरात असे निषेध कार्यक्रमाचे घेण्यात येतील असे यावेळी आल्तिनो गोम्स यांनी सांगितले.

Panaji (Goa) [India], July 9 (ANI): As a part of ongoing nationwide agitation launched by the Congress, the Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) along with Mahila Congress and Youth Congress held a rally on Thursday from Congress House to Collector Office in Panaji.
The rally was to register a strong opposition against the spiralling rise in the price of petrol and diesel and also an increase in the prices of essential commodities including edible oil and cooking gas.
Addressing the Congress functionaries who participated in the rally, GPCC president Girish Chodankar said that Union Government has accepted of collecting Rs 2 lakh crores in the financial year 2022 as incremental income from petrol and diesel, excise duties and cess.
