The data says that New York and neighboring New Jersey have fully vaccinated almost 20% of each state’s populations. But if you look at the data by age, the Empire and Garden states have lagged far behind in vaccinating people 65 years old and older.

The Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex is now being used as a vaccination hub run by the city Department of Health following the reopening of public high schools. Coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccinations scheduled at Staten Island Technical High School were moved to Ocean Breeze beginning March 22.
