AUSTIN, TX Catholic Charities of Central Texas will host a diapers and personal hygeine drive-thru in Austin to help those affected by the pandemic and February s winter storms.
The event will take place from 10:30 a.m. to noon (or until supplies run out) on Saturday at its charity s office at 1625 Rutherford Lane.
Those in need of basic hygeine items may drive thru the charity s office for no-contact pickup. Catholic Charities experienced high demand at its first Austin drive-thru event on March 20. ....

BRAZOS COUNTY, Texas Catholic Charities of Central Texas is hosting a special day that benefits the Brazos Valley in several ways. The Catholic Charities Giving Day will be held from 7:30a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at 1410 Cavitt Avenue in Bryan. All are welcome to come and celebrate the community.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Well, one Brazos Valley charity is planning to give big for residents still struggling from the Arctic blast and the pandemic.
Catholic Charities of Central Texas is known for its philanthropy already in Bryan and College Station. In fact, last year, it gave away nearly $240,000 to residents struggling to make ends meet.
And this year, it s planning a Giving Day – open to all members of the community. ....

During last month’s storm – which left millions without power, water or both – her family and neighbors used pool water for their bathrooms. “If you don’t have water, you can’t make food, you can’t do anything,” she said.
