The base surgeon at 22 Wing/CFB North Bay has been removed from his position and faces charges following an investigation by the Canadian Forces National Investigation Service.
Maj. Jason Ellison was removed from his position as detachment commander “to allow for separation from the complainant during the military police investigation,” according to a statement from Capt. Kylie Penney, a public affairs officer with the Canadian Forces Health Services Group.

On Tuesday, the CFNIS charged Ellison with four counts, including breach of trust, drawing a document without authority, fraud and conduct to the prejudice of good order and discipline.
