MUSKEGON COUNTY, MI – The president of a Muskegon-based union for healthcare workers is accused of using dues for personal expenses and international travel.
Hasan Zahdeh, 50, of Muskegon, is named in a criminal complaint filed in U.S. District Court in Grand Rapids alleging embezzlement of union funds.
Zahdeh was the only one with access to funds belonging to the Michigan Union of Healthcare Workers, Sarah Pons, a senior investigator for the U.S. Department of Labor, wrote in the complaint. ....
