BLOOMINGTON, ILL – May 19, 2021 – One B20 Club member was recently awarded with a grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Higher Blends Infrastructure Incentive Program (HBIIP) thanks to a partnership with the B20 Club, Illinois Soybean Association, and American Lung Association.

The Village of Arlington Heights secured $37,500 in funds through the HBIIP program to replace its B20 pumps with modern pumps that will enable departments to dispense B20, DEF, and gasoline from a single dispenser. The Public Works Department has been using a B20 blend of biodiesel year-round since 2007. ....

Committing serious money to focused renewable fuel research and infrastructure development.
The simplest and fastest way to accomplishing this is adding a
Non-Renewable-Carbon User Fee to the portion of liquid transportation fuels and natural gas made from non-renewable sources. ....

In President Trump’s final week in office, the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) proposed a rule to either modify the label requirement for E15 on fuel dispensers or eliminate it entirely.
The agency cited suggestions from biofuel groups that “the existing E15 label is no longer necessary and simply interferes with additional growth of E15 in the marketplace” and that changing the color and language on the label “would increase lawful use” of the fuel.
