Abu Dhabi Chamber Organises Webinar To Introduce Investment Opportunities In Maldives #AbuDhabi

The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in cooperation with the Embassy of Maldives in Abu Dhabi, organised a webinar on Maldives investment opportunities.
The webinar was attended by Mohamed Helal Al Mheiri, Director-General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, along with a number Maldivian ministers and officials.
The webinar presented a detailed presentation on potential investment opportunities in Maldives for Emirati investors and covered a number of key subjects including investment opportunities in the tourism sector, fisheries, marine life and agriculture to name just a few.
At the beginning of the meeting, Al Mheiri delivered his opening remarks by emphasising on the need to continue the current momentum of relations between Abu Dhabi and Maldives and the economic and trade cooperation at all levels by focusing on developing effective partnerships in all sectors of common interest. ....

Azerbaijani Culture Ministry begins monitoring monuments in liberated lands

Representatives of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Culture began monitoring monuments and cultural institutions in territories liberated from the Armenian occupation, the ministry told Trend.
The monitoring is being carried out in accordance with the decree of Azerbaijan s president ‘On the organization of a temporary special administration in the territories of Azerbaijan liberated from occupation for the purpose of initial inventory and protection of historical and cultural objects in the liberated lands,
During the monitoring carried out, 312 historical and cultural monuments registered with the state have been examined. During this time, 106 historical, architectural, and archaeological objects that are not registered with the state were discovered, the message of the ministry reads. ....

Coronavirus is mutating, adapting so it can survive. We re changing too in response. Our changes aren t biological though, they re cultural, our great evolutionary adaption.
Twelve months on from Covid-19 hitting we re changing our behaviours
and our laws.
Here are some of those changes which for me stand out:
Alerts on our phones
I use a cheap flip-top phone. The noise it makes when I receive a Covid alert sounds like Satan calling to say the world s ending. A little intrusive, but under the circumstances. Makes you wonder what else might justify the government using this ability in the future. ....

ICC committee meets Indian envoy

(MENAFN - Gulf Times) The Indian Cultural Centre (ICC) s new Management Committee (MC) has held its introductory meeting with Dr Deepak Mittal, Indian ambassador to Qatar; and S Xavier Dhanaraj, co-ordinating officer, Indian embassy.
All MC members were introduced by ICC president P N Babu Rajan, and each member briefly presented their background, role and responsibility assigned in the current term of ICC (2021-22).
Dr Mittal s introductory speech was very motivating and had many ideas, giving a clear direction to our thought process , ICC said in a statement.
The team is excited to showcase India towards celebrating the 75th Independence Day on August 15, 2022, leading with events and programmes on a weekly basis for 75 weeks. ....
