Oakland is considering opening a City Hall office in East Oakland to help residents who city leaders say have long suffered from divestment and a lack of access to resources.
On Monday, the Oakland City Council voted unanimously on a resolution to direct the city administration to look into opening a satellite office in East Oakland, or “City Hall East.” Councilman Noel Gallo was absent. ....
