Valadao to serve as co-chair of Congressional Caucus on Armenian Issues

WASHINGTON â Tuesday, Congressman David G. Valadao was named a co-chair of the Congressional Caucus on Armenian Issues.
âArmenia is a nation so many of my constituents know and love,â said Congressman Valadao. âDuring my time in Congress, I introduced several resolutions formally recognizing the Ottoman Empire s deportation and extermination of over two million Armenian people and, after years of Armenian-American advocacy for this cause, the House and the Senate finally passed H.Res. 29, Affirming the United States record on the Armenian Genocide. However, my fight on behalf of my Armenian-American constituents must continue. Armenians living in Nagorno Karabakh recently faced attacks from Azerbaijani forces in violation of their decade-old ceasefire agreement. Congressman David Valadao joins House Appropriations Committee

WASHINGTON, D.C. â This week, U.S. Representative David G. Valadao was appointed to the House Committee on Appropriations, the committee responsible for funding the federal government and determining where American tax dollars are spent.
Valadao previously served on the Appropriations Committee while representing Californiaâs 21st Congressional District from 2013 to 2019. During this time, Valadao was instrumental in funding key agriculture programs, water projects, education initiatives, and infrastructure projects.
âServing on the Appropriations Committee is an incredible honor, and I do not take lightly the responsibility met with determining how American tax dollars are spent,â Valadao said in a released statement. âI look forward to getting back to work for the Central Valley to ensure the priorities and needs of my constituents are represented in Washington.â ....
