KALAMAZOO, MI Facing a vaccine shortage and long waiting list, Kalamazoo teachers are fearful they won’t be vaccinated in time for a possible return to the classroom in the spring.
Kalamazoo Education Association President Amanda Miller said teachers, who are still teaching in virtual mode, have not yet heard when it will be their turn, and are nervous about the possibility of returning to school without the protection of the vaccine. ....
