Author: The weekend proved to be unusually busy and dangerous for Minneapolis police, three of whom were injured after responding to incidents around the city early Saturday morning. According to a media briefing from MPD, the first incident happened at about 1:00 a.m. in the Uptown area, where a group of drag racers were engaging in exhibition driving and causing damage to the roadways and endangering the personal safety to those in the area.
