America is a country of over 300 million people. We are comprised of every shape, size, nationality, and opinion. This diversity has proven to be one of our greatest strengths. However, if you listened to largely white liberal media personalities and elite CEOs, you wouldn’t know this. According to liberal orthodoxy, all Blacks think alike, and all Blacks support Black Lives Matter, and all Blacks oppose the recently enacted Georgia Election Integrity Act. To the contrary, a recent Rasmussen Reports poll found that 69% of Blacks and 82% of nonwhite minorities support voter ID. Another poll taken even more recently by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution found that a full two-thirds of Blacks in Georgia support voter ID. The data seems clear: A majority of Black Americans support voter ID laws. ....
WV Legislative Photography A bill to restrict transgender girls and women from playing female sports is on its way to Gov. Jim Justice. The West Virginia House of Delegates voted to accept the Senate s version of HB 3293 on Friday evening. The upper chamber s version gives female student athletes, from middle school to college, the option to sue their county board of education, or their state higher education institution, if they feel there s been a violation of this bill by having to play with or against a transgender girl or woman. If the transgender student is a minor, the identity of that student would remain private and anonymous. ....
Mar 2, 2021 When Republicans took over the legislative majority in Charleston in 2014, there was renewed hope that those elected to represent us in state government would be weeding out fraud, waste, incompetence and frivolous spending; they’d dethrone King Bureaucracy; they’d turn their backs on special interests and truly serve the people of West Virginia; and they would return some control to those same people. Activity in Charleston this session reveals what a naive hope that was. Far from “right-sizing” government, as so many lawmakers claimed they would do, efforts now are to actually increase spending and add layers of bureaucracy. There are joking whispers in Charleston that it is hard to tell which way is up, when Democrats come across as being the party of fiscal responsibility. ....
