"What grubs the ABC and ALP are, as they continue to try to inflict political and personal damage against former attorney-general Christian Porter," says Sky News host Chris Kenny.
The remarks come after former attorney-general Christian Porter discontinued his defamation action against the ABC and its reporter Louise Milligan.
Mr Porter had said the ABC determined not to defend the matter and had been forced to explicitly state the accusations in the article could not be proven to either a civil or criminal standard.
"The ABC journalist behind this campaign is Louise Milligan, she spent years pursuing Cardinal George Pell, in print and on television, and after his wrongful conviction the case against him was thrown out comprehensively by the High Court," Mr Kenny said.
