The Perham-Dent School District discussed another option for the use of the Family Resource Center building.
The space has been available for four to five years. The Perham Area Community Center and Productive Alternatives have shown interest in the space, as Superintendent Mitch Anderson said during the Wednesday, March 10 meeting. The Perham Area Community Center is considering it as an additional space for CrossFit.
Productive Alternatives would hope to relocate to the space from their building behind Dairy Queen. The non-profit supports adults with disabilities in finding jobs. ....

After Perham-Dent School District voters in 2015 approved $45.27 million in bonds to build a new high school and other improvements, the school district is now looking to save $1.3 million over 12 years by taking advantage of low interest rates.
