'Multiple-vehicle collision' with injuries on I-40 Westbound Saturday night

GREENSBORO, N.C. I-40 Westbound at Hope Church Road in eastern Greensboro is back open after it shut down for a few hours due to a multiple-car pileup.
Officers with the Greensboro Police Department were on the scene of a motor vehicle accident with injuries.

Please be advised that Interstate 40 Westbound is closed at Mount Hope Church Road in both directions. Greensboro Police is on scene investigating a vehicle accident with injury. GREENSBORO, N.C. Guilford County Commissioner Skip Alston is reassuring the public that Four Seasons Town Centre will be a safe and secure COVID-19 mass vaccination site, after a fight broke out inside the mall, frightening shoppers.
The fight between several people at Four Seasons Town Centre happened on the afternoon of Friday, February 26th, according to multiple witnesses and users on social media who shared video of the brawl from multiple angles. ....

HIGH POINT, N.C. An hours-long standoff in High Point came to an end after three officers were shot early Friday morning, according to police. High Point police held a press briefing Friday afternoon.
According to High Point police, Josue Drumond-Cruz, 34, is now dead after a standoff with police that lasted more than 11 hours. ....
