Health Foundation to give away hams, potatoes
Allegheny-Kiski Health Foundation will distribute free ham and potatoes this month.
The giveaway is limited to the first 100 individuals in need who phone the foundation to register at 724-294-3157 and provide their name, phone number and email address. Registration is limited to one ham and five-pound bag of potatoes per family per phone call. Registrants will be given instructions as to when, where and how the food will be distributed and must arrange for transportation to the distribution site. ....

Highlands plans annual Early Childhood Fair
Highlands School District will host the annual Kindergarten and Pre-K Counts Registration and Early Childhood Fair March 4, 5, 11 and 12.
Appointments are 45 minutes long and are available from 5 to 8 p.m. March 4 and 11, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 5 and 12.
Masks are required and social distancing will be observed. Parents should bring their child, the child’s original birth certificate, two proofs of residency and the child’s immunization records.
