Zach Hanna seeks another term as coroner | News, Sports, Jobs

LOCK HAVEN Clinton County Coroner Zach Hanna is seeking the Democratic nomination and a third term as coroner in the May primary election.
A 2003 graduate of Central Mountain High School, Hanna is a 2008 graduate of Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. He previously worked as Deputy Coroner and Office Manager under predecessor Donald “Woozy” Walker.
Hanna, a Democrat, has conducted and/or overseen over 700 death investigations since taking office as coroner in 2014.
He has also implemented a computer-based reporting system, significantly increasing the efficiency of the office and file security.
Hanna has developed relationships with emergency personnel, law enforcement and organization leaders throughout Clinton County; especially through recent collaboration to create and execute the best solutions for Clinton County citizens in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. ....

The Keystone Central Foundation recently presented the school district and IMPACT/West Branch Drug and Alcohol Abuse Commission with a $2,000 contribution to be utilized by the Central Mountain Middle School and Central Mountain High School. As a result of an anonymous donation in 2015, the Keystone Central Foundation has awarded each school $1,000 per year to further their efforts in reducing destructive decisions by youth including the use of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. IMPACT works with the local schools to provide positive messaging programs throughout the district. LOCK HAVEN First Citizens Community Bank recently made a $2,000 donation to the Keystone Central Foundation through Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC).
Funds donated through this program allow local businesses to take advantage of significant tax savings while providing unique educational opportunities for KCSD students.
