Ron Kind’s (WI) district that highlights the seedy massage parlor scandal looming over his career, from which he’s taken tens-of-thousands of dollars in income. The National Republican Congressional Committee helps elect GOP candidates with direct financial contributions, as well as technical and research assistance. The group also organizes voter registration and election turnout programs. Last week, the NRCC put Rep. Dan Kildee (D-Flint) on its list of 2022 midterm election targets. Rep. Elissa Slotkin (D-Holly), and Rep. Haley Stevens (D-Rochester Hills) were already on the NRCC’s list. Kildee is unconcerned. “You know it’s up to the voter. It’s not up to the Republican National Campaign Committee to decide who Michigan sends to Congress,” says Kildee. ....
House Campaign Committees Fight to Outraise Each Other 13 Apr 2021 The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) announced Tuesday it outraised the Republican National Campaign Committee (NRCC) overall in the first quarter of 2021. The DCCC narrowly outraised the NRCC overall in the first quarter of 2021. The DCCC reportedly raised $34.1 million in the first quarter compared to the NRCC who reported their fundraising numbers last Thursday, showing they raised $33.7 million in the same amount of time. The Democrat’s campaign arm is touting this quarter as the “best-off year Q1″ with more than $10.8 million for online donations. “American voters know the stakes in this election are clear.
