Singapore Suspends Reciprocal Green Lane Arrangements with Germany, Malaysia, South Korea

Due to the resurgence of COVID-19 cases worldwide, the Government of Singapore will be suspending the Reciprocal Green Lane arrangements with Germany, Malaysia, and the Republic of Korea. Earlier, Indonesia and Japan were also suspended.
The suspension is announced for a period of three months beginning from Monday, 1 February 2021, 0001hrs.
The Government of Singapore will review the Reciprocal Green Lane arrangements at the end of the suspension period. 
Travellers who have already been approved to enter Singapore under these Reciprocal Green Lanes can continue to do so. 
The Reciprocal Green Lane (RGL) facilitates short-term essential business and official travel between Singapore and Brunei Darussalam, Mainland China - applies only to travellers from Chongqing, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Tianjin, Zhejiang ....

Singapore Mandates COVID-19 Testing for all Travellers

Starting January 24, 2020, Singapore will launch another travel-related safety measure in order to combat a resurgence in worldwide coronavirus rates. All inbound travellers, including Singaporeans and permanent residents, will have to undergo a COVID-19 PCR test on arrival.
Apart from this directive, the island-nation has mandated an additional seven-day quarantine period for citizens/permanent residents (at their place of residence) returning from the United Kingdom or South Africa January 18 onwards.
This doesn’t account for their initial 14-day stay at an isolated facility. Individuals falling under this category have to undergo a COVID-19 test at the end of both periods. A response of this nature can be traced to the discovery of mutated strains of the virus, seemingly more-transmissible, in the aforementioned countries. ....

Japan suspends business visit program for Vietnam, 10 other economies

Japan has suspended a program that allowed business visits by people from certain economies, including Vietnam, as it tightened border restrictions over renewed coronavirus fears.
Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga on Wednesday announced the clampdown on entry by businesspeople from Vietnam, China, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, and Malaysia.
It means no foreigner would be allowed to enter except for special reasons like attending a relative’s funeral or childbirth, Japanese broadcaster ....
