LAWTON, Okla. (TNN) - Across Southwest Oklahoma, many towns and utility crews are dealing with the aftermath of severe winter weather.
The main concern has become water.
Sunday morning, many Lawton residents woke up to low water pressure or none at all. Water demand in the City right now is nearly double what it usually is in the winter.
The Director of Public Utilities Rusty Whisenhunt said residents should be conservative with water until tanks are full again. ....

BOSSIER CITY, La. (KSLA) - Bossier City Mayor Lo Walker and Bossier City Council President David Montgomery held a news conference Monday afternoon to address the city’s response to water crisis caused by the week of severe winter weather in the ArkLaTex.
The news conference was held Monday, Feb. 22 at 2:45 p.m.

Mayor Walker started by thanking all of the city’s workers who have worked tirelessly to restore water pressure throughout the city. Walker says since Monday, Feb. 15, the city has been working to restore water pressure, which dropped about 30 PSI due to residents running their faucets to prevent freezing and numerous water breaks. ....

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - In North Mississippi, people are being asked to conserve both energy and water to avoid a crisis as crews work to remove inches of snow from the roads.
The roads continue to improve in North Mississippi hour by hour as the plows start to catch up but officials say they will remain treacherous for several days with ice sticking around as the snow melts.
