There are growing fears for the crew of a submarine that went missing with 53 people aboard off the coast of Bali.
Authorities lost contact with Indonesian submarine KRI Nanggala 402 after it submerged early Wednesday (local time) during a torpedo drill.
The crew could have enough oxygen until early Saturday, but hope is fading as rescuers continue to search waters near where it disappeared. ....

(ANSAmed) - ROME, APRIL 23 - Dozens of migrants have been
reported missing and are feared dead after a rubber dinghy sank
off the coast of Libya, Sos Mediterranee reports. According to
the crew of the Ocean Viking vessel, 130 people were on board
the boat that was attempting the crossing in bad weather when it
was reported missing north-east of Tripoli.
   
Thirteen bodies have so far been sighted at sea although it
hasn t been possible to retrieve them yet.
   
Luisa Albera, coordinator of search and rescue operations on
board the Ocean Viking, said that after hours of searching, our

Australian health authorities are working with Victoria-based aircrew over fears they may have had contact with an infected New Zealand border worker.
The latest Covid case tested positive for the virus on Tuesday.
The Australian Department of Health said officials would now work with Qantas to identify and assess aircrew based in Victoria who could have been in contact with the infected case. ....

Most of the New Zealand Royal Navy personnel and family stationed in Canada have recovered from Covid-19.
The affected crew appeared to have picked up the virus from their accommodation in a building 12km from the Canadian Forces Base Esquimalt.
They are part of 103 naval personnel in Canada with the frigate HMNZS Te Mana, which is undergoing a major Frigate Systems Upgrade (FSU) of her combat capabilities and surveillance and counter measures. ....
