Tripartite agreement for CoronaVac signed enabling private sector to procure the vaccine

IP-Biotech recently signed a tri-partite agreement with the National Government and the Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII) marking the start of private sector galvanization towards the procurement and administration of vaccines for employees and stakeholders.
Pursuant to RA 11525 or the “COVID-19 Vaccination Program Act of 2021”, recently passed in the Senate and Lower House, private companies and Local Government Units are now authorized to procure COVID-19 vaccines which have been given Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), in cooperation with the Department of Health and the National Taskforce Against COVID-19 (NTF) through a tripartite agreement. This was further reaffirmed and emphasized through recent statements of President Rodrigo Duterte. ....

DILG joins business groups in calling for passage of economic bills, Charter reforms

DILG Undersecretary and spokesperson Jonathan E. Malaya noted that the DILG joined the call to the Senate and the House of Representatives of five respected business groups that collectively expressed their strong support for the initiatives of the Duterte administration to open the Philippine economy as a means for economic recovery and sustainability.
“The affirmation given by these business groups shows that government policies are on the right track and those business leaders are willing to work hand in hand with the administration for economic recovery and sustainability,” Malaya said. 
The business groups include the Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc., the Foundation for Economic Freedom, Inc., the Management Association of the Philippines, the Subdivision and Housing Developers Association, Inc., and the UP School of Economics Alumni Association.  ....

QUEZON CITY, Feb. 23 The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) added its voice to the call of influential business groups to Congress for the swift passage of pending economic bills including economic constitutional reforms (Economic CORE) as the House of Representatives began plenary hearings on Resolution of Both Houses No. 2.
DILG Spokesperson and Undersecretary Jonathan E.
