Davey Richards is officially returning to pro wrestling. Global Syndicate Wrestling announced this afternoon that Richards would be returning to pro wrestling for their promotion, appearing on their GSW Catalyst event that will air on May 22 on Fite TV. No opponent has been named. PWInsider reported on April 6 that Richards was close to agreeing to a deal with GSW to make a return to wrestling. Richards has not wrestled since 2017, when he lost the CZW World title to Shane Strickland (now Isiah “Swerve” Scott in WWE) in a four-way that also involved Joe Gacy and Lio Rush. He had been working CZW, Impact, and the independents prior to his departure from wrestling. ....
