As the [CVS/Walgreens] program has been implemented, most continuing care retirement communities around Virginia, especially those that are smaller than Westminster Canterbury Richmond, were able to get residents and staff at all levels of care vaccinated through the partnership, despite the fact that Independent Living was not supposed to be included.
… CVS confirmed a vaccination clinic for February 15 and 16 that we have been promoting. …
However, over the weekend and yesterday, with no warning, CVS has cancelled their agreement to vaccinate our Independent Living residents. We are aware of only one other continuing care retirement community in Virginia that is in the same situation. Clinics are also being cancelled for Independent Living facilities in other states. ....

RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - Family and friends are mourning the deaths of a Richmond couple who were found dead in their home, hours after they were reported missing.
On Wednesday, Richmond police said Sandra Powell-Wyche, 49, and her husband, Curtis Wyche, 36, were found shot to death after detectives conducted a search of their home in the 4300 block of Chamberlayne Avenue. ....
