She's only 23 years old, but H.E.R. speaks like a music industry veteran – and, in many ways, truly is one. The accolades piling up around her attest: The day after the singer won her fourth Grammy Award for the song "I Can't Breathe" from her album of the same name, she and her co-writers were nominated for an Oscar for the song "Fight For You," from the movie
Judas and the Black Messiah. She plays multiple instruments, has performed at numerous high-profile events, including Super Bowl LV, the Emmy Awards and the 51st NAACP Awards (for which she received multiple nominations), not to mention NPR's Tiny Desk (which sits at 16+ million views and counting).

Celebrities react to H. E. R. paying homage to Pinoy roots

H.E.R. (Having Everything Revealed), was able to snag the Grammy for Song of the Year a few days ago with “I Can’t Breathe,” which tackles “Black pain and police brutality.”
In her acceptance speech, the 23-year-old artist born to a Filipina and an American, noted how she didn’t imagine that her “fear” and “pain” would turn into “impact.”

A LOT of things went down at this year’s Grammy Awards—which was even more of a hot topic after the ceremony. But one of the coolest things, which is perfectly in line with the theme of this month’s Women’s Month, is that the winners of the 4 major Grammy awards were all—you guessed it—women!
The winners of the big four awards were as follows:
Record of the Year: "Everything I Wanted" by Billie Eilish
Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O'Connell is a 19-year-old singer-songwriter who first caught the eye of the public when she uploaded her song, “Ocean Eyes”, online. From there, she took the world by storm with her unique vocals, musical tone and music production style that she does in collaboration with her music-producer brother, Finneas.
